Greg Faenza Shoots 77; Finishes Seventh in Skyland Tournament

Raiders finish fifth in Delaware Conference behind Faenza's 77 and J. Bowan's 78

The Hillsborough High School boys golf team competed in the Skyland Conference Golf Championships Thursday at Neshanic Valley Golf Course. Their team score of 322 was a nine stroke improvement from the Somerset Tournament on the same course.

Greg Faenza led the way for the Raiders shooting a five over par 77. His score placed him seventh in the individual standings. Sophomore Luke Graboyes of Watchung Hills was the overall individual winner with a one over par 73.

“I drove the ball really well today. My putting was inconsistent but I had some good ones. The back-to-back birdies on the Meadow Course’s fourth and fifth holes [Faenza’s tenth and eleventh holes] made my round” said Faenza.
