Grand Staff Brings Seasonal Sounds to First Spring Show
Hillsborough's Faculty Ensemble added a second concert to this year's schedule.
It was a way to share a love of music, a way to give back and a way to support a student sharing the love of music—and how it's spawned the first ever spring show for the Hillsborough Grand Staff Ensemble.
The Hillsborough Grand Staff Ensemble was started as a way for school district staff to come together and share their love of music and to give back to the music community by helping a high school student pursue a career in music. A scholarship is given every year to one of these students.
The Grand Staff ensemble is made up of staff and friends of the Hillsborough School District under the direction of Nancy Gallagher and Gary Smith.

The ensemble's spring concert will be held on April 14, 2011 at Auten Road Intermediate School at 7 p.m. Suggested donations at the door are: $5.00 adults, $2.00 students/seniors (55+), $10.00 family. All proceeds from the concert are awarded to a high school senior planning to pursue a degree in music.
Donations are always accepted for the scholarship. For more information email Patti Robbins at thebynz@aol.com
