Google Video Promotes Tablets' Use—at Hillsborough Schools

Company's video touts Hillsborough schools incorporation of technology in classrooms.

Google recently posted a video promoting the use of its Nexus tablet computers featuring Hillsborough Elementary School students and teachers using the technology.

The video, titled "Introducing Tablets with Google Play for Education," was part of the agreement between the Hillsborough school district and Google that provided 3,000 Nexus tablet computers and $100,000 for software to the district.

The video was shown at Monday's Board of Education meeting, after which Superintendent Jorden Schiff noted the video has already collected comments from "all over the world."
