Community Partnership Network to Meet Feb. 21

Meeting provides opportunity to meet Hillsborough's new superintendent.

The second Community Partnership Network meeting—where residents will be able to meet Jorden Schiff, Hillsborough’s new superintendent—has been rescheduled for Feb. 21 in the Auten Road Intermediate School Cafetorium at 7 p.m.

Originally scheduled for Jan. 26, inclement weather forced the district to reschedule the meeting.

In addition to meeting the superintendent, the meeting will offer informal discussions and allow the community to provide input on various areas.  There will be breakaway sessions where those attending can discuss athletics, academics, the school budget, extracurricular activities, grant opportunities, health and safety issues, parent involvement in the schools and in district operations, public relations, technology and other areas.

The network aims to increase communication between the district and the community on various areas of school operations.  The network is new to the district this year and meets on an as-needed basis throughout the school year.

Participation in the network is not limited to those with children, so teachers, administrators, support staff, business owners and residents who don’t have children or whose children have completed school already are welcome to attend the meeting or join the network.
