Broadway Actors to Help Kick Off Hillsborough High Theater Season

Two musicals are part of the upcoming season, which will be announced at Monday's concert.


Hillsborough High School kicks off its theater season next week with an opening concert next week starring performers featured in many hit Broadway shows.

The lineup for the 2013-2014 HHS Theater season will also be announced at Monday's concert, which starts at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.

Performers in the Opening Night Concert have been featured in shows like "Jersey Boys," "Wicked," "Memphis" and "Rent." The program will also include performances by HHS grad Stephanie Christian, who is studying at Manhattan School of Music in New York, and HHS senior Alex Luckenbaugh, who was the recipient of a full scholarship to attend The Papermill Playhouse Summer Acting Conservatory.
