Route 206 Bypass: Our Very Own Road to Nowhere

Please forgive me but i really feel the urge to complain. Our tax dollars are hard at work completing the bypass that as far as I am concerned is a waste of money and time and an embarrassment.

The contractor or contractors have done everything that I think they could up until this moment. The lines are painted the street lights are up and even the deer are wondering what the heck is this thing. The road is completed from Amwell to Hillsborough but we can't drive on it.

Is there a time span that the additional work will commence? Maybe by the time the rest of the road gets built it will be time to repave what we see now?

I can just barely make out the bridge that goes over Homestead forgive me but I am fighting to go see an eye Doctor but it looks like two lanes forming into one to go over the bridge?

If this is the case well I can see the traffic backing up all the way to the Exxon station on Rt 206 by Kohls. My understanding was this was to speed the travel thru the township. I think it will create the same slow traffic but on a new road. This surely will cost us more money to maintain.

I understand putting people to work and feeding there families. I understand that Hillsborough wants a Town Centre. I also understand that Montgomery fought this bypass but surely they are laughing at us now.

Oh maybe not as nobody can see the new bypass yet. If anyone has any information on our road to nowhere please post what the final outcome will be as we are all excited about using our new liability.
