Health Department Hours Extended One Night a Month

Office will be open until 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

The Hillsborough Health Department will have monthly extended hours, joining the construction and clerk's offices in providing the additional time for residents to access the department's services.

Deputy Mayor Douglas Tomson announced the department's new hours, which will begin Jan. 22 and continue on the fourth Tuesday of each month. The department, including the Registrar of Vital Statistics, will be available from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on those nights.

"This is yet another effort in making the municipal offices more accessible to our residents," Mayor Frank DelCore said.
