Poll: Would You Move School Elections?
New Jersey school districts have the option to move school elections to coincide with November general elections.
The Hillsborough , Township Committee or citizens themselves have the option of moving the annual school election so it coincides with November's general elections.
It's —with a caveat that, if moved, school budgets would not be subject to voter approval as long as it's under the state's tax levy cap.
