Norm Hewitt, Baseball Team Honored for Magical Run
Coach recognized for 600th career win, team applauded for deep postseason run.
The baseball coach Norm Hewitt was recognized Tuesday night by the Township Committee for and the high school baseball team for capturing the , the and being finalists in the .
Hewitt’s teams have won seven county championships.
The baseball team completed the 2012 season with a 17-14 record, and won seven straight games in the championship tournaments before losing in the Group 4 final.
