Light Agenda for Township Commitee Meeting

The agenda for Tuesday's Township Committee meeting contains only a few items.

A presentation by the township’s Credit Card Advisory Committee opens Tuesday night’s Township Committee meeting as one of three proclamations on the meeting agenda.

The first proclamation honors Senior Exercise Coordinator Diana Reinhardt’s 20th anniversary in her post. A second proclamation declares September as National Hunger Action Month.

Two ordinances are up for introduction at the meeting. The first, 2011-19, amends the storm water control section of the township’s code to clarify the responsibilities for maintain detention, retention and recharge basins. It will undergo a public hearing on Oct. 25.

The second ordinance, 2011-20, amends the township’s development regulations to revise the definition of a shed in certain zones. It will undergo a public hearing on Oct. 25.

There are no public hearings on ordinances during Tuesday’s meeting.

Only two resolutions—involving soliciting bids for the municipal roof project and hiring a secretary for the Engineering Department— are on the considerations agenda.

The consent agenda also includes two items. The first item is a resolution approving the Steeplechase Cancer Center Run, set for Oct. 2. The second item authorizes the township to execute an amended joint services and purchasing agreement for January to July of 2012.

The Township Committee meets in the Municipal Courtroom at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
