The first ordinance that is up for approval includes changing the zone designation for an area bordered by Homestead Road, Willow Road and Township Line Road and by the Conrail Railroad tracks.  The area, which is currently zoned as Corporate Development Zone, would change to an Agricultural Zone.

According to Township Planner Bob Rangeley, 17 of the 33 properties in the area are already preserved farmland.  The change has been questioned by at least one business owner in the town.
