Hillsborough Democratic Alliance Monthly Meeting

HILLSBOROUGH DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE HOSTS ASSEMBLY HOPEFULS: 

 The Alliance will be hosting Legislative District  16
candidates for Assembly Sue Nemethand Marie Corfield,
one of whom will represent the Democrats in November's
election.  The candidates will make brief presentations, after
which there will be a question and answer period.

There will also be discussion of local issues, and several important upcoming
events and fund-raisers.  Democrats and progressives who vote in Hillsborough
and are thinking of being more involved during this presidential campaign year,
are invited to attend.   

Hillsborough Democrats are also encouraged to register with www.barackobama.com if they  haven't
already.  By registering, they  will receive timely emails about issues
and local events as the presidential campaign gears up.

Focusing on transparency and accountability in local government, the
Hillsborough Democratic Alliance provides all participants with an opportunity
to discuss the issues facing Hillsborough, Somerset County, and New Jersey as a
whole. Members
of the Alliance are also active in the community and participate in a variety
of charitable endeavors.  The Alliance is also planning several social,
fund-raising, and political events as this year's campaign at all levels of the
