County Recognizes the Talents of its Senior Artists
Art by seniors is on display through Sept. 9.
“There’s an awful lot of talent out there,” Somerset County Freeholder Director Robert Zaborowski said as he looked out over the audience at Tuesday’s meeting of the freeholder board.
Zaborowski was referring to the many senior artists in attendance at Tuesday’s meeting.
Artists ages 60 and older were invited to participate in the annual art show, sponsored by the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services.

Erin Berryman, health promotions coordinator for the Office on Aging, noted that this year’s show features the works of 28 senior artists—the most in the show’s eight-year history.
The senior artwork will be on display in the County Cultural & Heritage Gallery at the Somerset County Administration Building through Sept. 9.
