“We must continue to apply pressure, push for total Democratic and Independent support and work hard to insure that President Obama, as well as state and local party representatives, win their campaigns,” said Michael Goldberg, chairmanof the Hillsborough Democratic Organization.

“We have a wealth of information to share with our residents who come out for Community Day, and believe they will be encouraged to do more to obtain Democratic success in the 2012 elections.”

The event will also feature an important issues forum that will take place between 1 and 3 p.m. with panel discussions on women’s health, public education and legislative updates and voter rights, suppression and lawsuits. Residents will also be encouraged to give their input on a poll about Hillsborough.
