About 20% of Hillsborough Voters Cast Primary Ballot

Residents favor Township Committee incumbents, Mitt Romney for president.

About 20 percent of eligible Hillsborough voters cast their ballots in Tuesday's primary election.

With two open seats, the Republican and Democratic primary races were uncontested. GOP incumbents Carl Suraci and Robert Wagner garnering 1,205 and 1,199 votes, respectively.

Democratic challenger Michael Goldberg received 701 votes, while write-in candidates James Farley and Meryl Bisberg received 45 and 20 votes, respectively.
