Teenager Charged With Underage Drinking
The following arrest information was supplied by the Hillsborough Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Steven Rhodes Jr., 19, of Hillsborough was charged with underage possession of alcohol on Aug 20.
According to police reports, an officer checking a wooded area behind a Route 206 shopping center allegedly found Rhodes consuming it.
Rhodes was issues a court summons and released at the scene.

A Durling Way resident reported that a tire and rim were stolen off her car during the overnight hours on Sept. 20. The car had been parked in her townhouse complex lot, she said. The value of the theft was reported at $100.

David Ruiz, 39, of Hillsborough was charged with driving while intoxicated while allegedly driving a Ford pickup truck on Eves drive on Sept. 16. Ruiz allegedly obtained breath test results of .15 percent blood alcohol and was released after also being charged with being an unlicensed driver.
William Simon, 67, was charged with driving while intoxicated after allegedly driving a silver Chrysler on Roycefield Road on Sept. 6. Simon obtained breath test results of .09 percent blood alcohol and was released after also being charged with obstructing traffic.
