Police: Man Allegedly Assaulted At Workplace

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hillsborough Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Princeton man claimed he was assaulted by a Somerset resident while working at his Route 206 business, Hillsborough Police said.

Tod Wachtel, of Princeton, reported suffering minor injuries and was transported to Somerset Medical Center by the Hillsborough Rescue Squad.

Wachtel told police he was allegedly assaulted on May 18 by Marquis Stokes, 25, of Somerset, police said.

Wachtel was referred to Hillsborough Municipal Court if he wishes to file a complaint, police said.

A Hillsborough resident reported his iPad was stolen May 31 from a locker at the Body Shop gym on Route 206, police said. The item is valued at $729, according to police.

A Princeton resident reported his waller and cell phone were stolen from the changing room of Kohl's while he was trying on clothing on May 21. The victim reported the value of the theft at $380, police said.

Karem Llanos Rivera, 37, of Philadelphia, was charged with shoplifting on May 21 after allegedly switching price tags on several items at Kohl's. According to police, store security observed Llanos Rivera allegedly switching the item price tags on the items. He was released after posting $400 cash bail and an additional $293 on an outstanding warrant from North Brunswick. The value of the shoplifting was reported to be $107.98, police said.
