Police: Dispute Leads to Drug Charge

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hillsborough Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A dispute between motoristists led to drug charges for a Raritan man, according to Hillsborough Township Police.

Alvaro Jimenez, Jr., 35, of Raritan was charged with possession of less that 50 grams of marijuana on Oct. 11, after officers responded to a report of a fight on South Triangle Road.

The investigation revealed that Jimenenez had allegedy become involved in a dispute with another motorist over driving, according to Hillsborough Township Police.

Jimenez was found to be in possession of the marijuana during the investigation, police said.

Pedro Mendoza-Tello, 25, of Manville, and Jorge Ramos Garcia, 23, of Hillsborough, were charged with obstructing justice after both allegedly provided false information to police during a traffic accident investigation on Nov. 25. Mendoza-Tello was also charged with driving while intoxicated as a result of the investigation, though the matter is pending a blood analysis.

A New Amwell Road resident reported a burglary to their residence that occurred during the daytime hours on Nov. 16. Police reported that $9,088 worth of jewelry and electronics were taken from the residence.

Shams Al-Iskandarani, 23, of Hillsborough, was charged with obstructing justice after she allegedly refused to yield to the right of way of an ambulance and failed to pull over for police trying to pull her over on Nov. 14. She was released after processing.

Jennifer Tozzi, 35, of Raritan, was charged with shoplifting $74 of women's clothing from Kohl's on Nov. 14. She was released after processing.

A Riverview Terrace resident reported a burglary to their residence that occurred during the daytime hours on Nov. 4. Police reported that $800 of electronics were taken.

Kerrie Gill Jr., 51, of Austin, Texas, was charged with driving while intoxicated while allegedly driving a blue Chevrolet on Route 206 on Oct. 30. Gill was released after also being charged with refusing to submit to breath testing, driving with an open container of alcohol and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Cesar Mora, 20, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Triangle Road on Oct. 29. Mora was released after also being charged with failure to stop, driving while intoxicated while underage and being an unlicensed driver.
