Pa. Man Charged with Alleged Attempted Break-In, Resisting Arrest

Shoplifting and DWIs top the Hillsborough Police's incident reports.

A King of Prussia resident was charged with obstructing justice after allegedly arriving at a former neighbor's residence unannounced. 

Aaron Ridick, 49, of King of Prussia, Pa., was charged with obstructing justice and resisting arrest Sunday at 7:02 p.m., after officers responded to Bloomingdale Drive for a report of someone allegedly trying to break into a home. 

Upon arrival, officers located Ridick next to the residence, police said. Ridick allegedly refused to comply with officers and resisted their attempts to detain him.

It was later determined that Ridick allegedly used to live in the area and decided to enter a former neighbor’s home unannounced. Ridick was released after processing.

A North Plainfield resident reported that someone entered her Silver Toyota and stole $730 in cash and personal property during the overnight hours on Feb. 23, while the car was parked in front of a Taurus Drive residence.

Dimple Sethi, 32, of Montgomery, was charged with allegedly shoplifting $175.96 worth of clothing from Kohl’s on Feb. 19.  Sethi was released after processing.

Christian Gonzalez, 22, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated Feb. 19 at 2:11 a.m., while driving a green Ford on Auten Road.  Gonzalez was released after also being charged with careless driving and having a headlight out.  The matter is pending a blood analysis.

John Gogoly, 44, of Green Brook, was charged with driving while intoxicated Feb. 13 at 12:17 a.m., while operating a blue Infiniti on Millstone River Road. Gogoly allegedly obtained breath test results of .12 percent, according to police.  He was released after processing.

Officers responded to a burglar alarm at an Old Camplain Road business on Feb. 13. When the business owner arrived at the scene, it was determined that the lock on an outdoor storage container had been cut in an apparent attempt to steal copper and brass that was store inside.  Nothing was reported stolen from the business.

Kelly Henshaw, 31, of Branchburg, was charged with driving while intoxicated Feb. 11 at 2:24 a.m., while driving a black Honda on Route 206.  Henshaw allegedly obtained breath test results of .17 percent blood alcohol levels and was released after also being charged with failing to keep right, failing to maintain a lane and driving with an open container of alcohol.

A Zion Road resident reported that someone gained entry to his home on Feb. 8 by forcing entry through a basement window. Nothing was reported stolen during the incident, which the resident believed occurred between 4 and 11:30 p.m.  The Hillsborough Police Detective Bureau is investigating.

Debra Montagna, 53, of Hillsborough, was charged with allegedly shoplifting $106.49 worth of cosmetics and jewelry from Kohl’s on Feb. 6. She was released after processing.
