Police: Man Found Allegedly Drunk, Lying in Parking Lot

Police Blotter: Six Hillsborough teens charged with alleged possession of marijuana.

A Frenchtown man received a disorderly conduct charge after allegedly refusing to move when police found him allegedly drunk and lying in the parking lot of Washington Commons, Hillsborough Police said.

Michael Newland, 22, was charged with disorderly conduct after police officers detained him due to alleged intoxication and were attempting to have someone who was sober pick him up on Feb. 18.

He was released after processing, according to police.

Katherine Almeida, 44, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated Sunday at 2:18 a.m., while operating a red Hyundai on Auten Road.  According to police, Almeida allegedly obtained breath test results of .15 blood alcohol content and was released after also being charged with failing to maintain a lane, failing to exhibit documents and driving while talking on a cell phone.

Jaclyn Ussia, 31, of Montgomery, was charged with driving while intoxicated Feb. 18 at 5:46 p.m. after police received a report of a driver asleep behind the wheel of a Volkswagen in an Amwell Road parking lot. Ussia was released after also being charged with refusing to submit to a breath test, having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle and resisting arrest, police said.

A Hillsborough woman reported that she left her purse at the Route 206 Wendy’s after dining there on Feb. 17.  A manager at the store secured the purse, but reported that a second woman claimed it and left the store with the purse before the woman was able to retrieve it.  The loss of the purse and its contents is estimated at $357.70.

Justin Boehler, 18, Matthew Dzeuba, 18, Steven Fisher, 19, Anthony Mastoianni, 18, Oscar Matysiak, 18, and Kyle Williams, 18, all of Hillsborough, were charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana following a traffic stop on New Amwell Road on Feb. 6.  Mastroianni was also charged with speeding and driving while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, police said.  Boehler, Fisher, Williams, Dzeuba and Matysiak were also charged with underage consumption of alcohol, police added.  All were released after being taken into custody, though police reported that two juveniles were taken into custody with the Hillsborough Police Juvenile Bureau determining whether they will be charged.

Shamyrah Carreker, 22, of Elizabeth, and Charlene Stallworth, 22, of North Brunswick, were charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana following a traffic stop Feb. 6 on Route 206.  Stallworth was also charged with driving on a suspended license, driving with tinted windows, and driving while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Both were released after processing, police said.
