Metal Stolen on New Amwell Road, Amsterdam Drive
Police investigate two thefts over the past month.
are investigating two thefts of scrap and construction metal stolen from a New Amwell Road residence and a construction site off Amsterdam Drive.
According to a police report released Friday, a construction company reported the theft of $4,500 worth of construction metal stolen from a site off Amsterdam Drive sometime since April 24.
Police are also investigating the theft of $800 of scrap metal taken from a New Amwell Road residence on April 14, the police report said.

It was not known if the incidents were connected. The police did not release further details.
