Cash, Bonds Reported Stolen from Clawson Ave. Home

Police Blotter: DWIs, shoplifting, theft and disorderly conduct.

A Clawson Avenue residence was allegedly burglarized sometime during a four-day period last week, Hillsborough Police said.

According to police, cash and savings bonds were allegedly taken from the home sometime between Dec. 10 and Dec. 14, when the incident was reported.

The Hillsborough Police Detective Bureau is investigating the incident.

Over the past month, Hillsborough Police also reported making arrests for DWI and disorderly conduct. Here's a look at the police blotter:

Vikramjit Singh, 36, of Trenton, was charged with disorderly conduct after an officer observed him allegedly urinating outside his car on Beekman Lane Dec. 17 at 9:16 a.m., police said.

Jay Quintana, 19, of Hillsborough, was charged with underage possession of alcohol following a motor vehicle stop on New Amwell Road on Dec. 17, police said.  He was also charged with speeding and improper maintenance of lamps, police said.

A clerk at the Getty gas station on Route 206 reported that the driver of a black Cadillac with Connecticut plates allegedly left the station without paying for $49 of gas on Dec. 17, police said.

Robin Polansky, 47, of Manville, was charged with shoplifting at Kohl's on Route 206 on Dec. 14, police said. Store security observed Polanski allegedly concealing $79.99 worth of merchandise in a shopping bag, and attempting to leave the store without paying, police said. Polansky was released after processing.

A manager of the WaWa convenience store, located on Triangle Road, reported that someone stole $150 of cigarettes from behind the counter on Dec. 12, police said. The manager believed the theft occurred while the clerk waited on customers, police said. The theft was reported at 11:23 a.m.

Urszula Migdal, 42, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated Dec. 11 at 10:40 p.m., while driving a silver Toyota on Dukes Parkway West, police said. After stopping Migdal for careless driving, police determined she was allegedly under the influence and administered breath tests, police said. The breath tests showed a .11 percent blood alcohol content, police said. Migdal was released after also being charged with careless driving and failing to keep right.

Christian Gonzalez, 22, of Hillsborough, was charged with disorderly conduct Dec. 11 at about 2 a.m., after allegedly refusing to leave the property of a Route 206 restaurant, police said. Police reported that Gonzalez has been involved in an alleged disturbance inside prior to being charged.

Charles Spangenberg, 55, of Somerset, was charged with driving while intoxicated while driving a black Ford on Amwell Road Dec. 10 at 4:47 p.m. After stopping Spagenberg for careless driving, police administered breath tests, which showed a .25 percent blood alcohol content, police said. He was released after also being charged with careless driving.

Joseph Begley, 40, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated Dec. 1 at 2:25 a.m., while driving a maroon Mitsubishi on Willow Road. Police reported stopping Begley for speeding and determined he was allegedly under the influence and administered breath tests. The tests showed a blood alcohol content of .12 percent.  He was released after being charged with speeding and failing to exhibit an insurance card.

Christopher Judkins, 28, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Auten Road Dec. 3 at 1:07 a.m. Police reported stopping Judkins after he allegedly ran a traffic light and proceeded to administer breath tests. The tests showed a blood alcohol content of .21 percent, police said. He was released after also being charged with failing to observe a traffic light and not displaying a front license plate.

Brian Case, 24, of Lambertville, was arrested for driving while intoxicated Nov. 28 at 2:27 a.m., after officers observed the white Honda he was driving strike a curb on Ten Eyck Court, police said. Breath tests performed showed a blood alcohol content of .24 percent, police said. Case was also charged with careless driving and was then released.
