Fisher Drive House Uninhabitable After Fire

A Friday morning fire left a Fisher Drive residence uninhabitable.

The family living at 6 Fisher Drive will be staying with relatives after a Friday morning fire left their home uninhabitable.

No injuries were sustained during the fire, which occurred at 7:55 a.m., according to . The fire is believed to have started in the basement, and, at the time of police arrival, had spread to the first floor.

The residents of the single-family house were home at the time of the fire, and exited it safely, police said. The fire was extinguished by 8:30 a.m.

The fire is still under investigation, though it does not appear to be suspicious, according to police.

The , Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Companies , and , Franklin Fire Department, Manville Fire Department, Finderne Fire Department, Hillsborough Rescue Squad, Social Services, OEM, Fire Safety and Building Department and the Somerville Rescue Squad responded to the fire.
