Emergency Repair Closes Amwell Road Bridge
A hole in the bridge forced the towns to close the bridge connecting Hillsborough and Franklin.
Franklin Police expect the bridge between Hillsborough and Franklin to be closed until Tuesday morning, for emergency repairs to a hole in the structure.
While Franklin Township Police dispatchers could not comment on the size, cause or location of the hole, the bridge has been closed in both directions. It is expected to remain closed until repairs are complete.
Until then, travelers should find alternate routes, they said.
