Decision on Business Administrator Will Follow Court Proceedings

Business Administrator Aiman Mahmoud charged after March road rage incident.

The Board of Education has requested that District Superintendent Jorden Schiff monitor the municipal court proceedings for Business Administrator Aiman Mahmoud, according to a release from the district.

At the conclusion of the proceedings, the board will determine if further action is appropriate, according to the release.

Mahmoud has reported the matter to Schiff, and retained an attorney to defend himself against the charges, the release continued.

The incident occurred on at 2:49 p.m. March 31, on Ravens Crest Drive in Plainsboro. According to the Plainsboro Township Police Department, a suspect, later identified as Mahmoud, allegedly followed the victim to the victim's home and then allegedly threatened to shoot the victim.

No one was hurt or injured during the incident, Plainsboro police said.

The suspect left the scene before police arrived, however, the victim and witnesses provided a license plate number. Further investigation and contact with Mahmoud revealed a road rage incident and altercation on that date, Plainsboro police said.

Mahmoud was charged with making terroristic threats and harassment on July 13. He was released under his own recognizance pending a court date.
