Cops: Driver With Warrants, Bad License Gave Fake ID

Hillsborough resident charged with obstructing justice.

A township woman tried to hide her identity due to a suspended driver's license after being pulled over on the Fourth of July, said.

Candida R. Leonard, 33, was charged with obstructing justice for providing a false name to conceal having a suspended driver's license, police said. Leonard also had pending warrants out of Hillsborough, Ewing, Princeton, Trenton and Woodbridge totalling $3,650, police said.

She was lodged in the Somerset County Jail in forfeit of bail.
