Cops Bust Alleged Hillsborough Drug Dealer, 19 Years Old

The police say they found him in possession of marijuana, cocaine, LSD, Molly and lots of cash.

A Hillsborough 19-year old was arrested Thursday and charged with offenses related to dealing marijuana, cocaine, LSD, Molly and psychedelic mushrooms. 

Police say their arrest of Stephen Theodore, 19, of Flemming Drive came after a monthlong investigation by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force and Hillsborough Township Police Dept. 

They also arrested a 17-year old male in connection with the case, and charged him with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His name was not released.

Police report that after a search of Theodore's house and red Ford Explorer around 6:30 p.m. on March 6, they seized 5½  ounces of marijuana, 13 grams of cocaine, 82 tabs of LSD, 3½  grams of MDMA (molly), 9 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms) and drug paraphernalia (baggies and scales). Detectives said they also seized $4,495 in cash.

In addition, detectives said they searched the residence and bedroom of the juvenile and seized a half pound of marijuana and $2,867. An additional 1¼ pounds of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia (scales and baggies) were also reportedly seized by police from the basement area of his residence.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized in the investigation is $8,000 of  marijuana, $910 in cocaine, $450 in psilocybin mushrooms, $1,640 in LSD and $350 in MDMA (Molly), according to police. 

Theodore faces charges of possession of a marijuanawith intent to distribute, 3rd degree;  possession of LSD with intent to distribute, 1st Degree; possession of MDMA (Molly), 3rd degree; possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, 3rd degree,  possession of Psilocybin, 3rd degree; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a disorderly persons offense.

The juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, 3rd degree and possession of drug paraphernalia, a disorderly person offense.

Theodore was taken to the Somerset County Jail, and the juvenile was released to his parents.

An arrest is not a conviction. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
