$6K in Jewelry Stolen From Brookside Lane Home

Police say resident reported items may have been taken sometime during two-week period.

A Brookside Lane resident reported a burglary, with jewelry valued at $6,679 stolen, police said.

The resident reported the theft on Dec. 28, and told police the burglary occurred sometime in the previous two weeks.

Hillsborough police are continuing to investigate the burglary.

Police are also investigating a Dec. 18 theft from a vehicle, parked at a business on Route 206.

The victim, a Flemington resident, reported electronic items valued at $300 were stolen from the vehicle while it was parked.
