Bound Brook Man Killed in Triangle Road Accident

Hillsborough police say vehicle crashed into tree.

Anthony Lorenc, 44, of Bound Brook, died after the 2012 Nissan Maxima he was driving on Triangle Road crashed into a tree in the center median, police said.

The accident occurred at 1:42 a.m. Sunday just west of Banor Drive. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Lorenc was taken to Somerset Medical Center following the accident, where he died from injuries received in the accident.

Police closed Triangle Road for about three hours following the accident, and are continuing to investigate the accident.

Hillsborough Rescue Squad, Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co. no. 2 and Somerset Medical Center Paramedics also responded.
