$25K in Jewelry Stolen in Long Hill Road Burglary

Hillsborough police report four burglaries between Nov. 10 and 19.

A Long Hill Road resident reported more than $25,000 worth of jewelry had been stolen sometime during the Nov. 19 daytime hours, police said.

The incident was one of four burglaries reported to police between Nov. 10 and Nov. 19. The other incidents include:

  • An attempted burglary on Homestead Road on Nov. 13 in which no entry to the residence was gained;
  • Two vehicles parked on Lewis Street which were broken into during the night of Nov. 13, with cash and electronic items valued at $275 reported taken;
  • And a Farm Road resident who reported cash, jewelry and electronic items valued at $1,853 taken from their apartment sometime between Nov. 10 and Nov. 17.  

The incidents remain under investigation by police.
