I find it hard to believe that under the federal regulations if you call to get information on your childs academic progress, bill, etc they cannot speak to you unless you are cleared under the FERPA policy. But when monny and daddy want to complain that "little johnnie" isnt seeing the field and not playing they open up the gates to this stuff. Listen people it is NCAA Collegiate Sports not daddy ball or youth sports. Just because your son or daughter gets recruited doesnt mean they will touch the field. They may have been a star player at their respective high school but college is a totally different animal. No matter if its Div I-II-III. So stop using the copy-cat bullying complaints to make a false claim about the coaches and staff at any school. If you kids sucks - just accept it.

“I find it hard to believe that under the federal regulations if you call to get information on your childs academic progress, bill, etc they cannot speak to you unless you are cleared under the FERPA policy.” However, if your child owes the institution even one thin dime, the parent’s phone gets rung real fast wanting to know when you will pay up! Colleges’ promises of “great jobs” goes in the same folder as “if you like your health plan, you can keep your health plan.” At least in my book!
