A close call in the bottom of the eighth inning solidified a trip to the second round of the NJSIAA North 2, Group IV playoffs for the baseball team, while saw its season end.
With two outs and the Raiders leading by one run with the Warriors at the plate, the pitch got past the catcher. Pinch runner Eric Zadrozny sprinted home and dove in at the same time catcher Tyler Ferretti dove back for the tag. The call on the field was out, ending the game at 3-2 for the Raiders.
