US Army Vet Anthony Scott, 86, Enjoyed Gardening, Puzzles

Worked at ShopRite, in Princeton, for many years.

Before moving to Egg Harbor City 16 months ago, Anthony L. Scott, 86, lived in Hillsborough for many years. He worked in Princeton, at the Shop and Claridge Wine and Liquor stores in the Princeton Shopping Center, and enjoyed gardening and jig saw puzzles.

Scott died on Nov. 1, and was buried in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell. Thursday after services at Hillsborough Funeral Home. 

He was born in California, and grew up in the Princeton area. He served in the US Army during World War II.

Scott was predeceased by his wife Shirley (2000) and his brother Michael.

Surviving are his children, Debbie Frazzetta and her husband Chris, Dale Scott and his wife Christina, Keith Scott and his wife Linda and Barry Scott and his wife Lisa, his brother Frank Scott, his sister Jean Mandell, his 13 grandchildren and his 15 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
