Democrats Hold Campaign Kickoff Picnic For Thuy Anh Le And John Beggiato This Sunday

Hillsborough Democrats will hold a kickoff picnic fundraiser for Township Committee candidates Thuy Anh Le and John Beggiato on Sunday, July 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Polish Falcon Club Pavilion at 140 Falcon Road.  The event will be held rain or shine.

There will be award-winning barbecue, side dishes, salads, dessert, and drinks. There also will be sports, music, games, and contests for the kids.

Tickets are $25 each, or $45 for families. Checks may be made out to Committee to Elect Le and Beggiato.  Please email mbisberg@comcast.net to RSVP prior to the event.  You are also welcome to come to the event without an RSVP, for $30/person, or $50 per family.

"We are so appreciative of everyone’s support during the primary as we went door to door," said Ms. Le. "Now we are looking forward to getting to know you better and have you get to know other supporters".

Mr. Beggiato added, "I am really looking forward to an active campaign in which we can give voice to the issues that are important to the people of Hillsborough."

"Many of the 60 Democratic district committee people elected during the primary will also be on hand, and we expect anyone who attends will meet active Democrats from their own neighborhood," said Jim Bergstrom, newly elected chair of the Hillsborough Democratic Party.
