Beggiato and Le receive endorsement of Hillsborough Democratic Alliance

John Beggiato and Thuy Anh Le introduced their campaign to the Hillsborough Democratic Alliance last Wednesday, March 5, at the HDA monthly meeting.  They outlined their personal  backgrounds , and their experience working as volunteers in the community in sports, education, the environment, and other community organizations, as well as in township government.  They described running for Township Committee as an extension of what they have been doing in Hillsborough for the past number of years in terms of serving the community, and asked for the endorsement and the support of the HDA for the position of Township Committee.   A motion was introduced that the HDA endorse both candidates, which was unanimously approved. 

On March 9, Dale Gordon and Suzanne Ochse hosted a Politics Pot Luck to about 30 attendees.  In addition to John Beggiato and Thuy Anh Le, Janice Kovach, Clinton town mayor and candidate seeking the Democratic nomination for Congressional  District 7, which includes Hillsborough, was in attendance.  The food and conversation were teriffic, and additional supporters signed on to both the TC and CD-7 campaigns.
