What's Open on Christmas Day?

Pharmacies, liquor stores and the movies are all open on Christmas.

While township, bank and most businesses are closed for Christmas, Hillsborough won't be completely shuttered. Here's a breakdown of what and where you can go on Christmas:

Grocery stores: All three Hillsborough grocery stores are closed today.

Pharmacies and drug stores: If you've got the sniffles, no problem: CVS and Walgreen's will be open. Early birds can go to Walgreen's, open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (pharmacy closes at 5 p.m.), while those needing something later can go to CVS (open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.).

Convenience stores: Wouldn't be very convenient for the convenience stores to close, would it? the Krauzser's, Quickcheck and Wawa stores will be open.

Liquor stores: If you need to pickup a bottle of wine or run short on beer, head to Bottle King (open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Petrock's (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or Spirit World (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Millstone Wine and Liquor and NEC Liquors will be closed for Christmas.

When the gifts are all open and the days settles down, you can take the family to a matinee or evening show at Hillsborough Cinemas.
