Some Bridgewater Mall Stores to Open Thanksgiving Night

Stores have option to do business next Thursday night before mall's official opening at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.

If you're prone to dozing after the stuffing on Thanksgiving, head to Bridgewater Commons Thursday: eight stores in the mall will be open for shoppers—including coffee shops Starbucks and Gloria Jean's Coffees.

The mall is officially closed for the holiday, but Marketing Manager Amy Knorr said some stores are choosing to open so shoppers will be able to enter the building.

"We wanted to give them the option," Knorr said. "If the stores feel it's important to be open, then we want to support them."

Though she said additional stores may decide to open ahead of the big Black Friday shopping set to begin at 6 a.m. Friday, only Macy's, Arden B., Forever 21, Justice, Bananas and Subway are currently committed to doing so. Most are opening at 8 p.m., with Subway opening at 10 p.m. and Starbucks at 11 p.m.

Another block of stores will open at midnight, including Aldo, Adidas, American Eagle Outfitters, Ann Taylor, Brookstone, Cache, Champs Sports, The Limited, Microsoft, Mozaic, P.S. from Aeropostale, PacSun, Payless ShoeSource, Rockport, RUUM American Kid's Wear, Sephora and Zumiez.

Stores opening early are listed on the mall website.

On Friday, the mall will be fully open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 30, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 1.

This article was edited to correct the opening time for Bloomingdale's, which is 7 a.m.
