Dukes at NJ State Cheer Competition

On Sunday November 3rd the Hillsborough Dukes sent their two competition squads to compete at the NJ State Cheer Competition.  The event was attended by 90 cheer squads and was held at the Sun Bank Arena in Trenton.  The Hillsborough Dukes Jr. Pee Wee squad continued to perfect their routine since their last competition and was rewarded with another 1st Place, leaving this team undefeated for the season so far and earning the title of State Champions.  The Jr. Midget team had a last minute injury which left them performing a modified routine.  Despite the challenge of late changes, they still performed exceptionally well and was excited to get 2nd place at the competition.

Both of these teams will be competing at the Pop Warner Eastern Region Finals over the next two weeks, so their exciting competition season is still continuing!
