Hillsborough HS Band Camp - Another Year Completed

Each summer, the Hillsborough High School Raider Marching Band spends five long days at Camp Cayuga in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, perfecting the drill for its upcoming season. This year, they returned from camp on August 29th and performed their 2013 show entitled “A Defiant Heart” for all of the families to see all that they had accomplished in such a short time.

In addition to performing at home and away football games, the Raider Marching Band will be starting their competition schedule on Saturday September 28th at Roxbury High School. This schedule includes performances at South Brunswick High School on October 5th, New Jersey State Championships at Rutgers University on October 19th, Bands of America Regional Championships at Towson University on October 26th, and National Championships at MetLife Stadium on November 2nd.  In addition, the Hillsborough Band Parents Association will be hosting the Eighteenth Annual Raider Marching Band Festival on Saturday, October 12th, where the band will perform in exhibition. The competition will begin at 3pm and admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students/seniors.  For more information visit www.hhs-band.org.
