Saturday, the Hillsborough Rotary Club held a packing event at the Somerset Valley YMCA, with about 300 volunteers participating to package 1,500 bundles that will be delivered soon to the troops.

For those who may not be aware of what happens after you drop your donation in a box placed by local Scouts or at one of the area grocery stores, we took a step behind the line to follow the process of packing the "shoeboxes."

Watching how food, personal care items, candy and other donated items go from a bin to a box ready to ship in about 90 seconds.
