Hillsborough Democratic Alliance Hosts Assembly Candidates

The next Hillsborough Democratic Alliance meeting will be on Wednesday, March 7 at 7:00 PM in the main floor meeting room at Avalon Assisted Living,  393 Amwell Road.

The Alliance will be hosting Legislative District  16 candidates for Assembly Sue Nemethand Marie Corfield, one of whom will represent the Democrats in November's election.  The candidates will make brief presentations, after which there will be a question and answer period. 

There will also be discussion of local issues, and several important upcoming events and fund-raisers.  Democrats and progressives who vote in Hillsborough and are thinking of being more involved during this presidential campaign year, are invited to attend.      

Hillsborough Democrats are also encouraged to register with www.barackobama.com if they  haven't already.  By registering, they  will receive timely emails about issues and local events as the presidential campaign gears up.
