Enjoy Free Fish & Chips, Pass Along Bounty to Food Bank
A fundraiser for the Somerset County food bank feeds you like you're family—and then asks you to donate for someone else's table.

Sometimes there's just not enough days to go around, but each week we'll give you an idea of something to do to relax, spend time with family or friends, or just enjoy time by yourself.
Here's your opportunity to let somebody else do the cooking and dish up a free Argyle Fish & Chips dinner — at the same time you're giving someone else a chance to cook for themselves.
The Advent Lutheran Church in Warren this Sunday is again offering its free Argyle Fish & Chips dinner to those who are among the 125 who sign up ahead of time.
Donation for Food Bank Network of Somerset County
But the church asks for something in return — an emphatically described "generous donation" non-perishable foods or a monetary gift that will go to the Food Bank Network of Somerset County.
To attend, members of the public must RSVP at 908-647-2555. No walk-ins will be accommodated.
There are two seatings, at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. at the church at 128 Stirling Road.
