Taking A Breath for Women Breakfast

In the last 35 years, the lung cancer death rate has fallen 21% among men while increasing 116% among women. Lung cancer is the leading cancer killer in women. Lung cancer causes more deaths than the next three most common cancers combined. If lung cancer is diagnosed and treated at an early stage there is a much higher survival rate, but most cases are not diagnosed until the later stages.

On Wednesday, November 6 starting at 8:00am at the Forsgate County Club in Monroe Township, join us as we educated the women of New Jersey with the important information regarding lung cancer - risk factors, treatments and symptoms, the rise of COPD in women, smoking cessation options along with providing other life-saving and life-changing valuable information that you will be able to share with your employees, colleagues and families.

The American Lung Association in New Jersey's first statewide Taking a Breath for Women Breakfast will feature education, networking, information, inspiration and an empowering keynote speaker, Laura Berman Fortgang.*

Take a breath and learn how you can help keep those you work with and love to breathe healthy today and for many years to come.
