Community Corner

Food & Water Watch Open House

Celebrate With Us!

Meet Food & Water Watch staff, volunteers and fellow activists in the community as we share our recent victories and discuss our campaign plans for the second half of the year. We've had a successful year already as we've worked with council and community members to achieve local fracking bans in Highland Park, New Brunswick, Middlesex County, and Franklin Township. Enjoy good food and great conversations as you find out what else we're doing to protect NJ from fracking, frack waste dumping, and to pass statewide legislation that would require labels for GMO foods.

We'll be joined by special guest speakers who will share inspiring stories about how they got involved in the work and what they're doing to make change happen. This will be a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and to reflect on the great work we are all accomplishing together.

Organic food, wine and beverages will be provided. All you have to do is bring yourself. The more the merrier, family and friends are welcome too!

RSVP today at: http://bit.ly/1nNos2i

There is a suggested donation of $20 to help offset the cost of the event. If you have any questions, please contact Lauren Petrie at lpetrie@fwwatch.org or 732-993-8966

Food & Water Watch works to ensure the food, water and fish we consume is safe, accessible and sustainably produced. So we can all enjoy and trust in what we eat and drink, we help people take charge of where their food comes from, keep clean, affordable, public tap water flowing freely to our homes, protect the environmental quality of oceans, force government to do its job protecting citizens, and educate about the importance of keeping the global commons — our shared resources — under public control.
