Every year, more than 100,000 cases of blood, bone marrow, and lymph node cancers are diagnosed in the United States, and more than 50,000 people die from these cancers. Among children and teens less than 20 years old, leukemia
is the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer death.
Fortunately, there is a way you can help. Many of these people are
searching for a DNA match that can provide them with a life-saving stem
cell or bone marrow transplant, and you could be that match. With just a
quick, painless swab of your cheek, you can enter yourself onto the
national stem cell and bone marrow donor registry and potentially be
someone's last shot at life.
If you're interested in helping
our cause, come to Retro Fitness Hillsborough during the 1 Year Anniversary celebration and open house and get your cheek
swabbed. There is no cost to join the national registry. This event is being sponsored by Valpak of Central Jersey.
It only takes one person to save a life. Could it be you?
