State Says Woods Road School Is a Top Performer

School one of 112 Reward Schools in New Jersey.

Based on the achievement of students at Woods Road School on the state's NJASK tests, the school has earned the Reward School distinction from the Department of Education.

"A Reward School is a school with outstanding student achievement or growth over the past three years," the department's website notes.

The school was classified as as a "Highest-Performing school," meaning the school was among the highest performing in the state in schoolwide proficiency, subgroup proficiency on the NJASK tests (and graduation rates for high schools). The Department of Education compared the school's scores on the tests to others in the state and found the school's overall proficiency rate is greater than 90 percent, which qualified it for the ranking.
