Playhouse a Good Home for a Staycation

 in Hillsborough was declared the winner of the Patch Readers' Choice contest for best staycation in the Somerset County Patch area. The spot was the top vote and review getter of the five places that were part of the contest. However, voters also showed there are other great places to head when staying nearby is the best option.

In particular, the  received only one fewer vote than the playhouse.

Winners are chosen based on both the number of votes they  and the number ratings they receive during the week on their . In the event of a tie, we take into account the number of positive comments on our poll story, as well as the positive ratings/reviews posted on the businesses' directory pages. Negative comments are not taken into account.
