It's been a day of pumping basements, power outages, downed trees and 24-hour shifts for some emergency personnel.
It's been a day to clean out and clean up for many Hillsborough residents.
With many of the roadways to and from town flooded and basements in need of pumping, it's about all residents are able to do. The storm's rain and winds left many with driveways in the street, tree branches in the road—and in some cases, trees across power lines.
