More Spring Snow: 2 to 4 Inches Possible

Winter weather advisory issued, wintry mix expected.

Old Man Winter appears to be sticking around a little longer.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Somerset County with 2 to 4 inches of snow expected by Thursday morning.

The Somerset County senior centers in Hillsborough, Manville, Montgomery, Quail Brook, Raritan, Warrenbrook and the Senior Wellness Center in Bernards will be closed Wednesday.

The Office on Aging and Disability Services in Somerville will be closed to “walk-ins” Wednesday for the safety of patrons. Clients needing information and assistance can call 908-704- 6346.

A mix of snow, sleet and rain will continue throughout the day Wednesday. The storm will cause slick traveling conditions and produce winds between 5 and 10 miles per hour, the NWS said.
