Bagelicious Wins Readers' Choice Tiebreaker

This week's Readers' Choice for bagels came down to our second tiebreaker in Hillsborough. As per the rules attached to the initial article (also attached to this one) votes and ratings are weighted equally. When the dust settled, though other places received great support, two businesses stood above the others:  and . However, one had the edge in voting and the other in ratings.

The tiebreaker, as stated by rules, is based on the combined positive comments and ratings. Just to prove how close these two places are in the eyes of readers, the comments supporting the two businesses on the poll article were tied at five each! It came down to the one positive comment with the review on Bagelicious, per our rules. So, in the closest contest we've seen, the nod goes to Bagelicious. It's obvious Hillsborough has some great places for bagels.

Winners are chosen based on both the number of votes they  and the number ratings they receive during the week on their . In the event of a tie, which we had this week, we take into account the number of positive comments on our poll story, as well as the positive ratings/reviews posted on the businesses' directory pages.
